Default Need some advice

I am looking for my next car and have narrowed my choices to either the A4 Cab or the BMW 325Cic. What are your impressions of the A4? I have read in other forums about Audis not holding value very well and issues with reilability. Need some advice from those who know. Thanks!

I don't think you will get very good answers here. We are all partial to Audi's. No one here is going to say "go buy a bmw".

I understand the bias, but what are your impressions of Audi's holding their value and reliability? I loved the car I test drove, but I'm new to the Euro car market, and was looking for some education.

Yeah it's true they tend to depreciate fairly fast. Reliability depends on what you are comparing it to. It's obviously going to be less reliable than say a Honda or Toyota. But they also don't come with all the creature comforts or handling characteristics. My A4 has probably twice the bills that my old Mazda had, but it's also 100 times more enjoyable.

BMW are too common. I have had my audi from about thanksgiving and i haven't had any problems after i had the clutch and timing belt replaced whne i bought it. I know a few people taht have all sorts of audi's from my mom with the new a6 (new bodystyle) a friend with a brand new s4 (yep only 16 damn rich kids) and another kid with a a4 with body kit and exhaust and we all love our cars.

Well, if your going to take care of it, the A4 is your car, if not a BMW is prob the one of the best built cars in the world. "I know this because my father owns one". Im not raging on Audi's I love mine to death.....but either one you wont go wrong.....
