Need some advice
the BMW has a 325 xi which is all wheel drive also. I say the only difference in the awd is the styling they have about the same performance. But if u look at liek a 330i then thats a diff. story b/c it is way faster but ,ore expenssive. My Dad had a 528i before he got his Range Rover and it drove great up to 120,000 miles (I even took my license test in it). So no matter what u chosse it will be a great car.
If you are buying a new car, and plan to sell in 4-5 years with 80K miles on it, buy the BMW because the Audi will have depreciated like a rock whereas the BMW will have held more of its value.
If you are planning on buying a 4-5 year old used car with 80K miles on it, buy the Audi, because it will have depreciated like a rock whereas the BMW will have held more of its value.

Thanks all. You make some great points. I do love the styling of the Audi's, and like you said, not everyone and their brother is driving one. Looks like I going for the A4. Any advice on the 1.8T v 3.0? I like the wood trim and seat memory with the 3.0. But is it really worth 6 grand more?
I have had 4 bmw's before the audi and still have one. Bmw's with the rear wheel drive are annoying in snow but they will last forever! I have had 2 e30's one lasting over 375,000 miles and is still going. The other e30 got sold at 100000 because it was auto. I had a e36 that was in a accident but ran like new at 140k. The other e30 i still have and love to death. In 1988-1991 they made an ix which is what todays xi awd is based off of. I know i'm on an audi forum but Bmw's are great cars and i love audi's too its win win but bmw has the classic look and proformance to boot!! They are a great asset!!!!
