Default need some help bad!!

alright, heres the deal. A few months ago i tested my turbo system for leaks and found none. I adjusted the bypass valve(turboxs) and my car ran like new. It was amazing! Although i noticed that the turbo sounded like it was leaking. Thought nothing else about it and went on because the boost gauge was reading 15-16 psi. I have now swicthed to a forge 007 and my car has continued to run well. Now, the fun part where all you mechanics come into play. I just got done drilling my spark plug non-fouler(sp) because im going to put a test pipe on this weekend. I go out to my car and pop my hood to see if there is enough room for the foulers(sp). While im looking around i notice that the hose from my wastegate to the n75 valve has come off( im asuming i forgot to hook it back up, hints the leak sound, while i tested the system a number of months back). So i said cool, my car should run better now. WRONG!!! i got in and drove it up the street and was only getting 11 psi. 11 FU*KING PSI. What should i do? take the hose back off or keep it on? thanks guys, i know someone on this site will steer me in the right direction.

PS 99.5 1.8t quattro (apr chip,forge 007)

yeah, other than that i have no idea, there could be a boost leak somewhere else, not sure if maybe the spring on the dv is loose and is leaking boost into the intake

but that wouldnt change the reading im getting on the boost gauge would it? i would still be getting 16 psi right? Would it hurt if i left it off? it runs so much better.

you could leave it off it doesnt show a cel and the car runs fine, just get a plug for the hose, you can get those from ecodetuning.com i think

i dont know though, i think you should find the real problem, cause it could be a lot worse and it might get expensive if you dont fix it, but you said the car SOUNDED or FELT like it was leaking boost, cause if the hose is off, it will basicly run like a BOV
