Default NEED SOME HELP PLEASE!!!

I've searched but can't seem to get a straight forward answer...2000 A4 2.8Q...my remote stopped working, I replaced the batteries, went through the reprogramming operation about 123438943 times and tried about 123434 differnent combinations of the instructions...so you all suggested I get a new switchblade off ebay...what numbers must I match up when buying one?
btw.. my switchblade says:

FCC ID:MZ2 410 819 6 4
CANADA 2674 102 666 VDO

4DO.837.231D 29/99

thanks for all the help!

The following instructions are to reprogram your switchblade key fob.

1. Take a spare key and insert it into the ignition. Turn it one click forward.

2. Roll down your window just in case. Step outside the car, and lock the car with a second key.

3. With your second key fob press the unlock button. The lights should flash.

4. Now lock the car with the key fob, and then unlock it.

5. Remove the key from the lock and the key from the ignition, and try it's function

can't help w/that. when i bought my car i got 1 key and a bad vacuum pump. changed the pump myself, but the remote didn't work. audi has them set to where you need to reset everything. i use macs and i can't run a vagcom, so when i got chipped @the dealer, i had them set up a new key and reactivate my remotes. sorry.
