Default need some new tires

so im in the market for tires to wrap around my new 18s . ive been looking at toyos and other decent tires, but dont know which is the best for our cars. i guess i can spend around $100-175 per tires...preferably somewhere around 150 though. i plan on switching to stock wheels during the winter and it doesnt rain that much around me, so summer or all-seasons would be alright.

they are 143 and 118 respectively per tire. they both recieved high marks in all categories, except for road noise, which i dont mind because my music is usually blasting.

I actually have BFG KDW2s on my 18s (225/40R18) and Fuzion ZRIs on my stock 16s (225/50R16). I like both tires a lot and recomend both to everyone. The BFGs definetely stick better than the Fuzions but I don't know how much of that is tread design and compound and how much of it is the sidewall difference. I think when it's time for new tires for the 18s I'll probably go with the Fuzions, mainly because there cheaper but also because they are so much quiter. Road noise is my only complaint about the BFGs. You get used to it but it's still obvious. I also here really good things about Avons.

I'm gonna throw in for Chris here and say that Avon Tech M550's are really not that bad of a tire at all. I really like mine after I went with his advice. And they are relatively cheap.

^^^ +1 From reading the reviews and comparison test on tirerack.com I'd recommend the Avons, they sound like a pretty sweet deal. Thats what I'll be getting with my new rims.

They are VERY nice tires. I won't be using anything else for A/S tires. Great in the rain, and great grip. Very pleased with them.
