whats up guys, i just put in a 710n and when i was removing the old one the little crimp clamp on the smallest tube just sort of fell off on it's own with little force, more like just from moving it around... i didn't know there was a clamp on that hose so i didn't buy one today before i started and i was wondering what kind of clamp does it need, can i just use a zip-tie or is there too much pressure on the little hose? the hose is the one that looks like the hose that you run a boost gauge line with. thanks

 

zip-tie temporarily then get a screw type clamp when you get the chance

 

i forgot to add that i was just waiting to hear from someone about this...the car's still hanging off the sidewalk waiting to get done

i didn't know they made screw clamps small enough to fit on hoses that size...i'll just go buy one right now, thanks

but i noticed some oil on the old DV where the tubes were connected, or it might have been grease... is that normal?

 

The oils normal. It comes from the turbo and the pcv system.
