Need a new transmission for my 1999 audi a4 quattro 5spd manual. Where can I find one for a good price?

i would check a euro wreck yard in your area.

 

there's always shokan. if that doesn't work, check for cars being parted out here, on AZ, and on AW

 

Yeah need the trans. Looks like its the input shaft bearings gone. Going to have one more shop check it out and if they say the same I will definately need to be buying a good used trans soon others just a clutch kit. What clutch kit is cheap and reliable I shift at 3k rpm everytime basically the car is babied!

 

well if you have a 1.8t you can bolt on a 2.8 tranny and get slightly better gear ratios. just some imput. theres a guy on ebay that sell alot of audi engines and trannys, has good feedback, sorry but cant remember the name,
