Well, I went to the dealership today. The Si was sold. Test drove the Audi and wow! This thing is niceeeeeeee! Let's just say I'm heading to the dealership in the morning and might be taking somene with me to take drive my current car. I'll let you all know! Thanks again for the responses!

The Civic has a 5 star crash test rating all around except the side impact front passenger which has a 4 star.

EDIT: For the driver of the vehicle, The Audi has 4 stars for front impact and 5 stars for side impact. The honda has 5 stars front impact, and 3 stars side impact. Not only that, but regardless of the car you are driving, a side impact is far more likely to injure or kill you than a front impact. Furthermore, the Audi is 500lbs heavier than the honda, which would also make it safer. Therefore, if I was the one deciding betwen the Audi and the Honda, I would be safer in the Audi and would take that into consideration.

Ummmm... Excuse me you two but just to make sure we're comparing Apples to apples here.

Make sure you put up a link to a site that backs this up. The site I referrred to has only good, fair poor etc...... A star rating would be cool to see but I don't have the time to find such a site right now.

I stand corrected. The website I went to early stated the Civic had a 4 star front passenger side impact. According to NHTSA it says it has a 3 star. Most accidents are front and rear accidents not side. so if I had to choose which of the cars would be safer IMO is the Civic.
