Default Negative deviation?

i scanned my car and it keeps throwing me this code 17964 - Charge Pressure Control: Negative Deviation P1556 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent Intermittent
ive replaced my n75 valve b/c i asked my mechanic and he told me it was some vacum valve, and i asked him if it was the n75, he said yes, then he looked under my intake manifold and told me that it was right underneath it. well it isnt its right above the turbo, i replaced it, the code is still there. do u guys know of anything else it could be. has anyone else had this prob. the car feels a lot slower then it used to be. what other vacum valves are there under the intake manifold? maybe one of them oculd be gone
thanks for u help

You need to clear the code, then see if it comes back. Once you replace the part, the code doesnt go away. Itll be there forever till cleared. I have had the same exact problem with the stock N75. Whenever I would really get on it to red line in every gear up till 4th, I would go into limp mode (stock boost/fuel/etc.) and get that code. I never had that problem with an N75H or MBC. Strange thing is I have only seen this happen to 2000 1.8t's chipped w/GIAC.

i think he is telling you to run a "race valve" or get an mbc and put it in place of the stock n75
