tire question
hey there... so i just bought a nice pair of rims with new tires for like for a good deal... they have a pirelli tires- P205/45ZR16
the rims are not the right 5 lug pattern and well not fit on my a4... (any way around this?)
Now I can put those pirelli tires on my stock audi rims with out a problem correct?
thanks
if anyone is looking for a nice set of progression rims in decent condition let me know

OK, here's the deal. First the wheels - if the pattern's not right, the wheels are best used for boat anchors, because if they're not right, then they're not right. Sell them to someone who can use them.
On the tires, assuming all four are the same 205-45-16 size, yes you can use them. Remember though, that the stock size is 205-55-16, so you will have a smaller rolling diameter, which means that your speedometer and odometer will be reading inaccurately. With tires that are smaller in size, your readings will be high (ie, at an indicated 60mph, you will actually be going somewhat slower) and your odometer will register accumulated miles faster. You got a good deal on the package, so if I were you, I'd sell it as a package to someone else, and get tires the intended size for your car. You can use the 45-series tires, but just know your instruments won't be accurate.

just what i thought.. just wanted someone to back my thoughts up.
thanks for the quick respones.
doesnt anybody think that if you put a smaller profile tire on the stock rims and then lower it low, it would look better.
