just keep in mind ... if the motor can't breathe all the rest is theory, not reality.

ORIGINAL: EvilA4

I would go with APR since REVO basically stole everything from them. I wouldnt buy the poser brand.

I hear GIAC is nice but APR gives more HP and Torque.
for the B5:
APR = 200hp / 243 lb-ft
GIAC = 197hp / 242 lb-ft

Yet you would not think so if you drove both.
GIAC feels much stronger and is a much more exhilarating drive.

And I highly doubt you will get $200 for a Neuspeed chip - seeing as how Greedspeed.com sells it new for $179.00.

Does it feel so different because of the power delivery everyone talks about, or an actual performance difference? The giac boost comes in more sharply, rather than the smoother APR curve, so the giac feels more??

The GIAC feels stronger, but over the full course of the powerband it all evens out between both. Either choice of GIAC or APR is a good choice. But I like the GIAC cuz it pushes me back in the seat more often. heh

i think i can sell it for 200 bucks, trust me there is people that would buy it, especially locally. so here is the determining question, will i feel a bigger difference with an exhaust or with a new chip, nobody answered taht for me, and now im wondering again.

edit- and i just checked greedspeed and there chip is going for 314.00

i would say you'll feel more power with a new chip rather than an exhaust, but either way you go, the one you don't get should be your second mod....

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoo

don't do that!

I have Neuspeed Exhaust with APR chip, and I think it's heaven... but then again it's all opinion so good luck regardless.
