While I am sure you had bad expierence... i have nothing but good thing to say about them. Some forum members may remeber my 1st accident in A4 where I had severe front end damage. I ordered over $1000.00 in parts some came from partsbin.com and some actually came overnight. I dont think you should fault an "entire company" for 1 or 2 people who obviously cant do their job. Just my 2cents hope everything works out

I know what you are saying but I disagree. Everyone I spoke with there (even the supervisor) stated that when you purchase multiple things from them that most of the oem parts are not going to be overnight shipped even tho it states overnight for your entire order in your cart at checkout and to me thats some serious horse sh*t. The manager also said it states their shipping policy in the user agreement that you have to check before you continue but seriously does anyone ever read that long as$ legal bunch of bs? Also when you ask a customer service rep at partsbin to speak to a manager/supervisor they all said "there is no point since he will tell you the same" and I asked the supervisor about this and he admited that "thats how we train our employees" wtf ! Every company has its share of idiots but any company thats trains an employee to refuse to get a manager on the phone when there is a problem is f'd up. I'm glad you had a good experience with them and im sure many others have too but after what I learned about their company policy I will personally tell everyone I know never to buy from them .

I also disputed the charges with my bank and it sounds like im going to win since the ups guy didnt get a signature, he just left the box in my office.

btw, if you go to thepartsbin.com and search for a rear main seal for an 98 passat and add it to the cart it gives an option for overnight shipping even tho that part can never be sipped overnight according to them.

 

I thought that you said he refused to put a supervisor on the phone?

 

I called back 3 times and finally got 1 on the phone but it was not easy. I have to admit that the supervisor was a decent guy tho. He even offered to let me call him direct if I ever order from then again. I still say NEVER BUY FROM THE PARTS BIN.!!!
