Default New 1.8T Owner *PICS*

I just got my hands on a 2001 Audi A4 1.8T. Laser Red with Black Leather Interior. I have had it for about three weeks now and am lovin every second of it. I was this close to getting a 2000 S4 but that fell through so the 1.8T was my next option. Here are a bunch of pics, if the quality sucks its because it was taken with my cell phone:

And me with one of the locals

It has a brand new racing clutchand racing lightweight flywheel. I want to upgrade more. First off I am probably looking at 5% tint and new wheels. After that I want to head straight to the engine. I figure first thing should be a new DV, Intake, and Exhaust. I am new to the Audiworld so not sure whichbrands work the best with which application.I will probably get new pulleys for it too.Of coursein time I want it chipped. And possibly look into bigger brakes. What do you guys think and what else could I do for performance?

Chip it first best bang for the buck on preformance. Look at brands such as GIAC or APR for chips.

DV you can spend some money and get one like a Forge and have it be fixable or the cheaper alternative the DV off the TT's which is the 710n and just replace it if it breaks.

Intakes dont help as much with our cars since our engine bay is heatsoked a lot but it does increase the sound of the DV if you want to hear it.

For exhaust most here have gone with brands such as Borla, Miltek and some others. Some do custom jobs too since we only have a limited selection and they want something specific. I personall LOVE my Borla.

Instead of getting an intake you also might want to look at the airbox mod, its cheaper and more efective is most instances.

I do like the looks of them, and would probably keep them if the previous owner didnt curb it and scratch the crap outta them on the driver side.

looks nice. i would forget about the new wheels and dive straight into the engine. you have an 01.5 by the way and those are the 17" sport celebration rims (only available on 01.5 quattro sport) and first thing that chould be done to the engine is chip and dv. and i wouldn't recommend pulleys just cause i've heard they cause problems with 1.8T's.
