looks like you have a short shifter too

 

i have that same car. only black with onyx(beige)interior.. so trust me. get the chip(GIAC-X is the best one for us '01.5ers) and dv first(if you want to save money get the TT OEM one mentioned earlier, 710N for like $40).

and i painted my wheels black and it looks so much better. they are my winter wheels. tried to find a pic of a laser red a4 with these rims painted but couldn't.. so here's mine for refference

I almost thought they were aftermarket wheels when I first saw them, until you mentioned they were painted.

Is your turbo louder after changing the DV to the TT's?

 

thanks dude. i think they look aftermarket too sometimes when i see them rolling or from far away.. summer wheels are back on now, im thinking of changing up the color for next winter.. maybe gold

but i actually have the Bailey DV30 diverter valve. i can easily hear turbo spool and the DV "blow off", but it's like 30% due to the intake i have actually

 

sean1.8T I might have that done, Im gonna see if someone can photoshop my wheels first because I think that would look good on Laser Red.So if I have this straight, Chip, Forged DV, and Exhaust is all I reallyshould do?

if your thinking about cosmetical mods too, i sugest new mirrors, maybe another bumper (s4 or rs4) i have a laser red 99 with black wheels, h&r cup kit suspention, s4 front bumper, and some other engine and cosmetical mods

 

^^ you have all those things yet you still have the ugly two piece headlights...get some ecodes and your car will look hot
