Hey guys. Sold off my A6. The dream of a supercharger never came through. Not enough mods on the A6 3.0L platform to keep me happy.

I just purchased a new 2007 A4 2.0T (CVT).

O.K. .. I can't say I have cash just laying around.. but I do have some.

What mods would you suggest for me - free or bolt-on - to start with?

Congrats on the purchase.. But you cant do a whole lot of mods with theCVT tranny as far as i know... Id chip it, exhaust, and cosmetics.

 

Chip and exhaust sounds good to me.I know a good exhaust, DV (diverter??), chip and CAI would help out a lot.I know there is a turbo kit for this platform as well. You wouldn't suggest?

You know,I test drove the Quattro, and I just didn't like it. Call me crazy. I have driven AWD DSM's and I felt more power through that then the Quattro.

 

ya a cai isnt gunna do much for you other than sound cool unless you have a big turbo but the rest sounds good to me. Im sure youd be very happy with just a chip. I wouldnt risk a BT kit with CVT. Its been done, but i think the tq ratings for the CVT are less than even earlier model tiptronic.A chipped 2.0t willput you at about k04 power which is respectable and a lot of fun.

 

What DV do you suggest? Any luck with a certain model?
