New to the A4 Community
I have owned some type of Audi for the last 10 years. However, I recently got my first A4 (sold the URS4) in my sig for it. It's a 99.5 Hibiscus Red. Apr chip and exhaust are the only mods I have done to it (and 710n). I will post pics up as soon as I can.
The reason I am chiming in is because I had my first problem with it the other day. My heater controls (buttons) are not working. The blower still works but the controls are stuck at 72 degrees. Can't turn it off, up, down, change temp or anything. Any ideas as to what I should be looking into?
Thanks and glad to own an A4!

Sold the White URS4 (200,000 miles). Your right it is probably mad at me for selling her.
Still have the black S4 (2001). Just bought the 99.5 A4
https://www.audiforums.com/m_577186/.../tm.htm#585767- pics of S4 with new wheels/rubber. Yeah I know I gotta lower it yet.
Any thoughts on the heating issue?

RE: New to the A4 Community
Could be a few things.
The simplest is that one of the push buttons is a bit sticky and hasn't popped out all the way.
That is usually the cause, and the fix is to get some contact cleaner and judiciously spray it around the buttons and get out the dried coffee abd soda that has dripped intere. If that doesn't work, get access to a vagcom and check the HVAC system and run the diagnostics.
