when I picked up my 01 Tahoe new 3 years later i got it under the GMAC family plan (mother in law was good for something) payed about 1500 into their gm kick back.

Our audi I got financing online. and a steal of an intrest rate. They sent me a check. We went and looked at our 3.0 usp. I said i wanted it for 35 flat. They said no way. I said okay , here is my number. I then called the mercedes dealership from our salesmans desk and made an appointment to test drive a 04 e320 4 matic i had seen on line. I told the mercedes dealer i needed an hour for lunch and would be there in about an hour. 45 min later Audi sales guy called, Tried to haggle and got nowhere. We agreed on the price and I went back and picked it up.

Get pre approved, get a check, walk in. You are cash. If you leave they will not make a sale, The audi is nice, but the e320 would have been nice to. They knew i did not particularly care which i got.

There are 3rd party brokers who can get you your new Audi for nothing over invoice, and maybe an $800 broker fee and THATS IT!

 

How is that better than 500 or less over invoice?

 

it better not be one of those all you gotta do is get 5 friends to sign up... then they each get 5 friends to sign up...

 

Brokers can be crooks also.

Being an informed consumer is key to keeping as much money in your bank as you can.

 

The broker is simply a middleman between you and the actual car dealer. Why include yet another, completely unnecessary, step in the "food chain"?
