Where did you buy the car at? An Audi dealer? Used car lot? Craigslist/eBay? I would run a CARFAX on the car & see where it was last registered. If it came from the SouthEast, it's possible that the car could've been a victim of Katrina and some douchebag sold the car cheap... just wanted to get rid of it.

The worst is spilled milk. A friend broke a bottle of milk in his Mercedes and the carpet was saturated. They had to rip out the carpet to get rid of the smell.
