Default New to audi! need help to purchase tomorrow!

Hey guys, I am new to audi! I am sure i have a lot to learn, but it is important that you guys help me out! So here is the situation....

I am currently looking at a 2004 Audi A4 1.8t sport package. It is red, and is pretty much flawless. It only has 60,000 miles on it, with brand new tires and brakes. The dealer is asking $13,000.

Now here is my other option.

I take my grandfathers 2004 Dodge Ram 1500, quad cab, 4x4, 5.7L hemi. It is silver, but is starting to rust. It has 120,000 miles. That would be free.

If I don't take the truck, i will receive a $5000 down payment from him on the Audi.

Please give me opinions and tell me what I need to know to make the right decision! thanks guys in advance!

Stick with the dodge ram. Audi are junk cars. You will have too many maintenance Abe repair issues. Especially an Audi that has over50,000 miles. They are lemons after that many miles.

good metric socket set, torx bits, metric allen bits...you should be fine. be sure to save money for the inevitable repairs and maintenance. willkommen to the klub!

lot of 1.8T gurus over in the A4 section.

have fun

You'll be a lot happier in the Audi. Screw trucks as daily drivers lol. And ignore SLine up above.

Listen. The truck was bound to break down sooner than that. If your on an audi forum, why are you saying audis are junk cars? I mean thanks for your side of the info, but if anyything is properly maintained it is bound to last a while. Im going to baby the car, not tear the **** out of it. Thank you for the opinion, but i would like to know a few similair stories to the problems you had before just saying "audi's are junk cars". That just doesnt help me enough.

Haha ... because he bot a lemon and didn't know how to swallow it.

I still love My top conditioned 2002 A6 w/138k miles, when I traded it in for a new 2012 A4
