hello everyone last week i jsut purchanced my first audi its a
2001 audi A4 1.8t sport
Black on Grey and black interiour
59000km
Sport package
Quattro
5 Speed

Im very exticed and happy with my car but i noticed right off the bat it didnt have the power that i was looking for so these are the current list of modds that i plan on doing this week

Tint Windows (car comes with clear windows)
GIAC Softwear
Borla Cat back exhaust system (sounds great)
H&R Race springs 1.9" frount 1.5" back (thinking of Blisten Sport shocks also but not shure if needed)
Bailey Motorsport DV30 diverter valve (anyone have one or a sound clip of any of thier DV's so i can get an idea of how they sound?)
Stuwart waurner boost guage 30vac-25 boost

Those are the first wave of moods that im doing right away.but first i have a few questions. ok the DV....does anyone have a sound clip of what thier DV's sound like. just so i can get an idea of how loud/quiter the dv will be. the second question is that i want to mount my guage either in over of the vents or wehre teh raido is( im putting in aftermarket deck adn will have a space under to put a 3 guage pannle. i need help with companies that sell either of these guage holders or anything else that you know of becides teh A piller and on top of the steering collum. but all in al these are teh mods and i jsut wanted to get some feed back on my little project.

 

sounds like you have a nice project going here... as far as the dv goes theres not going to be much if any difference in sound unless you do the airbox mod which is listed ontop of the page... however there still wont really be any big sound difference... with the airbox mod however you will hear the "fluttering" of the dv... il see if i can find the movie clip someone put up a while back
