I have a neuspeed chip right now and iam looking to upgrade that to a GIAC one and well dose any one know if i would be able to put it in my frieds 99.5 A4 1.8T thanks

would this work even though we have to dif years i have a 97 and he has a 99.5 if so the ecus r the same thing then right

It should work even if you swapped ecus, n-dbw isn't as gay as dbw as far as ecu tuning goes. The only thing i was told by a giac dealer is if you guys differ in tranny's. If so he could have it removed from his ecu and you can have it socketed in yours which is like $40 and they can reflash it if need be. Or you can buy my giac k03 chip, its just sitting here i have no use for it as i have a different setup. Anyone who wants it PM me. For <99.5 years, n-dbw.

Check ECU codes first, his is probablly 557p
