New to the forums need help please.

Default New to the forums need help please.

Hello audi members

My name is Rob iam from Australia and im currently buying a 1997 Audi A4 turbo and i find this site and thought you people could help me, such as what are the few mods that will help me gain more HP and get the best out of the car and also i wanted to know what is the factory model turbo as i cant find any infomation and what are the stock PSI on the stock Turbo and if some of you guys could help me that would be great thanks you.

Stock turbo is a K03. See if APR or GIAC is down there.

1. chip APR, GIAC, REVO $400-$500 can buy used ECU w/ chip so you keep the backup.

2. upgrade diverter valve 710N, Forge, Bailey's $30-$150

3. K&N air filter $25-$40

4. box mod (see sticky at top) free ($10 to make screen)

5. start searching/reading $free

nice as ive had a turbo car before which is a Ford Falcon XR6 TURBO with 300rwkw or rwhp as i think you know it by
and what the most hp can you get out of the audi car before doing interally jobs to the engine?

Stock psi is 7-10max.. A chip will bring you up to 16-20psi and will change your fuel/air/timing to transform your snail into a beast. (maybe not a beast, but its a very significant difference) A chip is very cost effective.

About 300whp without doing internals. Not bad huh???

If you do plan on getting a new bigger turbo and supporting mod's for it, i would skip the chip and wait until you are ready to do the big stuff because youll have to get new programing for it anyway.

on yours probly 225 hp (thats a guess) cause your starting w/ 150 hp but '01's start w/ 170 hp

EDIT: 300 what?! oh wait does that include BT?

besides chip, exhaust, BT (and supporting mods) what else does that include?

for the audi i would like to do first Intercooler,BOV,k&n pod,Injectors,Value Springs, and a better induction system and what hp should i be lookin at then?

Information as said above..

FYI: 300RWKW (rear wheel Kilowatts) = 402.3 RWHP (Rear Wheel Horse Power)

interals can handle around 400bhp
