Default New Gauge Cluster

Would I be able to install a new gauge cluster in my 01 A4 or do I have to take it to the dealer to get the car reprogramed? I heard its not worth it to change it out, but I would really like it if the cluster computer worked.

I already found one. Shokan.com (one of the best places to find used OEM Audi stuff) has them for $245, I just need to give them the part number and mileage so they can find one thats exact. Anyway, I heard you have to get it reprogrammed by the dealer and I was just wondering if its true or not. Is it just plug and play?

I've ordered a couple of things from them and they have all been awesome. I actually ordered a hose for my turbo intercooler and it looked brand new and it was $70 dollars cheaper then the dealership....I havent talked to anyone on the phone over there but their e-mails have always been nice...

(this is in reference to that guy on AZ who had a super bad expirence with them...)
