hey all. i'm new and in the market for a new car (audi) i have narrowed my selection down to the a4 or a6. now the a6 is probably spacier but i think that the a4 would handle better. i am going for both looks and performance. my budget is around 15-20k and i want to get an 02 or 03 a4. my question is... will i be able to find a well maintained decent car withOUT insane mileage on it for that money?

and is the a4 better than the a6? i'm sure i'll be hearing yes since this IS the a4 section, but i'd like to hear both sides. thanks!

 

its really hard to say what each individual cars,... What am I looking for... expectations, or wether or not they will meet yours. But they are both great cars. I think for the handling issue you should go and drive a couple and see if what the A6 has to offer is good enough for you. Obviously the A4 in the long run will handle better. but other than that, good to have you abord and welcome to the forums.

 

A6's are nice for sure espically the 2.7T and the 4.2's but they are a big car if you have a family and everything the A6 would be the way to go but if you are looking for something storty and fun then I would choose the A4
