ok so i go down to the beach tonight no noises perfect as usual. come back to my car nothing wrong with it at all get on the highway and theres what sounds like a wheel bearing noise again though i just had my right rear done. i know i need rotors and im hoping its that cause i was planning on that anyway. but it sounds like a wheel bearing again dunno if it is though and i just with in the last yr got new tie rods so im hoping u guyscan just ease my mind and agree its the rotors lol, otherwise im gonna be pissed cause i dont wanna do a wheel bearing again.

 

what kind of sound are you talkin about? Were you hitting the breaks when it was making this noise?

If the noise only happens during braking, I would agree its your rotors.

 

yes and no theres a slight humm when not braking and is louder when i brake thats why i was hoping rotors but i dont know why it would hum not braking

 

Check your tires for feathering. If you wheel bearing was done they may have knocked somehing messing up the alignment causing the tires to feather

 

Pull the hand brake and listen.
