Whirling/clicking noise coming from back wheel
Yesterday I finally got to replacing the brake caliper on my rear passenger side tire. It was making a whirling noise which led me to believe the piston was seized up and the pad was still on the rotor, I confirmed this when I took the brakes apart and the outboard pad was almost gone and the inboard pad was pretty much new. After I changed it I expected the sound to be gone but I was wrong, it is now accompanied by a clicking sound when the car is just costing at about 5-10 MPH. The sound pretty much goes away when I give the car gas but if I let off the gas it comes back quite loud, also when I use the brakes the sound completely goes away. Which leads me to believe it is still a problem with the brakes rather than a bad wheel bearing. Any suggestions? Also I did take the worn down outboard pad and put in on the inboard side and the inboard on the outboard because I did not have any new pads with me and autozone was close, could that possibly cause this?
