First off, my buddy just got a 2001 A4 1.8T quattro and he is both computer stupid and car stupid. I am a computer guy, but I own a mustang and was just stopping by to ask a few questions on his behalf. So here a goes.....

1. Where is the damn turbo, and what can he do to it to make more boost>?
2. No stock boost guage??

Thanks in advance, I know mustangs real well but these cars are amazing. I know they can rip it up because I got smoked by a stock looking A4 a couple of weeks ago and I got a full bolton GT. Wait till I get my Kenne Bell though!! Anyway, please let me know about this stuff so I can pass it on. Thanks in advance/.

Na, Im out in NW IL. It was from a 60 roll and man did it end fast. I would have faired better from a dig, but Im not sure if it was the quattro one. I got drag radials and can launch with the best of um. I always catch races on the highways and never light to light. I got gears and stuff too so my car is all about launching.

no..there isnt a stock boost gauge..awe has a center vent replacement gauge and theres a guy on www.audizine.com that makes gustom inserts for like $20..other than that theyre around for the a-pillar..just expensive...i know that Pandaxpress has a digital screen thing thats really cool that is a boost gauge...hope that helps

yes u can increase ur boost. Buy a GIAC chip of Apr chip, they wil give him around 50 more hp.
