Default New timing belt and valves!.. quick question

Hey all.. completed the broken timing belt problem. I had 12 bent valves and wow what a b*tch to find that damn head tool..

Eitherway, is it normal for the car to feel a little laggy or sluggish after this type of job?.. Is there any type of adjustments that need to be made in the near future?

Thanks,
Chris

i just did that too, only 8 bent tho.... mine was real sluggish, then i found that my wastegate shaft had broken... i think i may have done it pulling the head off, it could hardly get up a steep hill... if thats the case, i am not kidding when i say its harder to change the wastegate than to replace the valves (i had the tool) cause you are not supposed to disconnect the rear of the turbo unless you are changing it, so good luck if that is it

At what mileage did you timing belts break? For a rough idea

Hmm.. I highly doubt I broke the wastegate, but I will check. The car has 179k when the belt broke (not bad huh.. lol)
