^^ If he's like me, he's probably a little worried about the reliability of a BT. I guess now that they have the elims times are a changin' though. As soon as someone comes out with a good software for cheap, I'll be all over a BT.

Bt A4s are amazing. My car was extremely fast, and a blast to drive.

Haha, you may pay for a Apr stage 3 kit, but the performance you get is 2nd to none. I would have raced those elims anyday.

Man I couldn't agree with you more about the APR kit. Although, correct me if I'm wrong, but when you buy the APR kit, aren't you pretty much maxed out at whatever ridiculous numbers that that thing makes? With some of the other BTs (not the elims of course) you can make a little more. Not that it's worth the hassle though....now, is anyone near Western NC? I need someone who wants to help me install all this crap once I buy it.

t3/t4 turbo can make 300WHP+. I dont know what the APR Stage 3/+ kit can make but the t3/4 setup is sweet for nDBW cars.

sucks that you are dbw.... nDBW respond better to BT setups. DBW have a tendancy to have throttle close at hight boost. some people convert from DBW to nDBW.

DBW sux.

I dont know audiboy....with the elim gt2871, I dont think that there would be a problem. They are getting over 300whp. I only have the elim gtrs, and when I dynoed it at the local subaru dealership, it was like 233.6whp, at 16psi. But, I dont have the intake, I have the stock piping with a stepdown inlet on the turbo. I also have a completely stock exhaust, short of a remus muffler which I dont think does anything other than make noise. On every website I have read, they are claiming like 30+whp once you upgrade. And once I get a fmic, I can run 21-22psi, they say its safe without it but better safe than sorry. I will re dyno it when I get it in two weeks and let you guys know what it puts out.

Everybody says ko4 arents worth it, but thats a lie. I have had a slew of turbos and the ko4 is def worth it. Its a blast to drive with amazing tq for a low price. Its also very reliable. You should piece together the kit as there are no specialty parts that will make it unreliable. Get the turbo from rippinralf on vwvortex. I have a 5 bar fpr fs for $50 shipped which is probably the best price u can find, and the programming, get giac i think its around 400-500
