Hey guys!
I'm looking at buying a 1999 A4 2.8 v6 quattro with 65000 miles on it. I'm after a buying guide or something similar. Or if any of you could point me in the right direction etc that'd be awesome. Equally, any comments positive or negative would be hugely appreciated.

Search "common problems". Timing belt every 60k, control arms, ABS control module, etc. 2.8's are very reliable when taken care of. You'll find everything you need to know by searching, this topic is brought up a lot.

 

have a mechanic look at it and get the a carfax on it fa sho and make sure its clean interior exterior yanno[sm=alcoholic.gif][sm=alcoholic.gif]

 

Hey man just check AudiWorld.com they have all kinds of good crap for different model A4s. I like to just run through that site to soak up the knowledge, that's just another place to get your questions answered. Also check the links page on this site and the 2.8/3.0 primer at the top of the page. And of course do a search. lol.
