Default New wheels almost a reality

Alright, I'm going to buy bilstien sport shocks and H&R springs for my 2001 A4 1.8T. I'm pretty sure I'm going to put 18x8 RS4 wheels on it, but I'm not quite sure what tire size i should be getting. Does 225/40/18 sound about right? I don't want to have to worry about rubbing.

how far are going down, I went 2" on my b6 which have wider fenders with 235/40/18 with no rubbing, you might have to roll your fenders while you are at it, I think if you go 1-1.5" you might be ok but I would still roll the fenders.
