Default NEWB with reality

didnt want to ask this in the general discussion. but im new to audi's, but im coming from evos and stis, i have a couple questions that im hoping to get solid awnsers to about A4s with awd, (quattro im guessing) generally from 2000-2005.
1)what is the final drive for most audi's
2)how are the transmissions on audi's, weak, strong, automatics better than manual. 6spd better than 5 speed or vice versa.
3)v6 or 1.8t, or 2.0t, which is the most reliable that can generate the most amount of safe power
4)what is the awd drive system, Limited slip or open diff.
5)any common problems, tcase, motor, trans, electrical
i may be missing something but basically any good information would help.
thanks for helping the new guy the community
