Default newbie - coilover question

hi guys on a previous post i asked about a suspension suggestion.

many replies came back with the Tein Coilover best bang for buck.

this ebay link:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-AU...spagenameZWDVW

is for Tein Basic coilover is this a good system? i still want to have a stiff ride but not hard and bumpy.

any thoughts?

iirc teins only work on non-quattro a4s...if you have quattro you'll need to get something else...the next cheapest that i know of is koni coilovers.

Koni's a good name, good product. And like Bentframe said, Tein doesn't have a coilover setup for the Quattro.. I think it's in development though, could just wait for that to come out too. i have no idea what the ETA is on that though

konis are also developed/manufactured in germany iirc....IMO, i think konis are probably the best bang for the buck...they may be a little more expensive than teins, but i think the overall quality is much better.
