1. How do I determine if my A4 has the "sport" suspension?

2. H&R or Stasis/Koni coilover? I have read through several topics here, and opinions vary. The price gap is only $200 or so between the two. Each is ride height adjustable, and dampening adjustable. I have a set of 17" wheels with no suspension mod yet, so as you can imagine the gap between the tires and the body is pretty sad. Recommendations?

3. I have a set of Sumotomo 225/45 ZR 17. Fair tires IMO, but poor wet weather handling and louder than I would like. Any recommendation for a quieter, better handling tire?

well what year is the a4 that you have?

sport suspension shocks are red and typically you'll pretty much know from the size of the gap...with a sport suspension you shouldn't have more than a 2-3 finger gap between the tire and the wheel well.

H&R is easier to adjust from what i've heard so i'd prolly go with them for that.
