Hi all! We bought our son a 2003 Audi Cabriolet with 82,000 miles. The next day we had issues with the PRND flashing lights and car wouldn't go into reverse. Brought it to a mechanic that we don't know (yet!) and he determined it was the TCM. That is being replaced, but he also said we are going to need a water pump and timing belt very soon. He said there is no warning when it goes and that it just goes and we would then have engine issues. Do you know if this is true? Thanks for your help!
