hmm... after having nitrous on my Talon and almost blowing the car up i thought i would never consider it again.
but with all the info i now know it could be a good finishing touch for my bt setup...

Sputtering when spraying is not good. I would check your plugs before spraying it again. It also would be a good idea to close down the spark gap to .030-.032.The bottle leak could have been contributing to that, as the mixture would have gone fuel rich and could have caused a mis-fire. Another good item to add to your set up is a bottle pressure guage, the NOS bottle pressure should be somewhere around 900 PSI. Less than this will make it fuel rich (depending upon jet size), but NOS usually sets up there jetting recommendations to be fuel rich for safety reasons, so coupling this with low bottle PSI could richen it more.
