so this has happend to me on about 3 occations in the last 2 weeks. either ill notice a lack of power and no turbo and then the CEL will pop up. i have searched and there are a couple of things but i dont have time to look right now. it is odd because when there is a lack of power i can not even hear the turbo. well if any body has had similar problems and can lend some knowlage i would be very thankful BTW it is a 2001 A4TQM with about 81k

 

Did you check to see what the CEL was?

I figured it would be there is a guy on the MNAudi forum that has one (vagcom) and i try and have him take a look.
the problems is it comes and goes if it is gone when i get the opt to have the cel checked will anything show up?

 

im kinda having the same problem with my 01 but i get not cel and no engine related codes just 1 code for my headlights not being adjustedand 1 for the centeral locking system. sometime i get a full smooth 18 psi and sometimes i get a not so smooth 5-10 psi and i have checked the vaccum lines and none are broke or cracked
