DV question

How loud is the stock DV supposed to be? As in, under semi-heavy driving, should you be able to hear it with all the windows up?

stock boost and airbox its pretty much silent. Up the boost and/or remove/modify the airbox and you should be able to hear it.

Everything on my car is stock, but I can clearly hear the DV. I was just curious because it's not very loud, but the other stock 1.8t cars I've been in I just can't hear it at all.

i think it kind of depends on the car, mine didnt make any noise when it was stock, but yet my friends same year with less miles you could obviously hear it. wierd,.......
