Default no jets / dirty windshield

I refilled the washer fluid container about a week ago and I could never get the jets going. I figured it was because air got in the pump all that time the container was empty. So I waited and just kept trying to get the jets going figuring liquid would reach the pump sooner or later but it still doesn't work. Does anyone know what it could be?

That or the pump for the winshield washer is dead. Turn your headlights on, can you get the headlight washers to work? Can you hear the pump kick on when you flip the wiper stalk? If not then maybe a bad stalk?

Thank you, I'll try that after my next class. [:@] Air gun? HA, all I've got are my hands and some weak *** plastic utensils (not home).

The headlight washer doesn't come on and there is no sound from the pump. The wipers come on though. Does this mean that the stalk is good and the signal to the jets is getting lost or that the stalk is bad altogether? Or worse yet, is the pump gone?

Hmmm not sure, I'd say the pump is probably gone. I've posted the procedure to swap the tank out and replace the motors. How handy are you? I'd pull the pump out and jumper it to the battery to see if it will turn on or if it is dead. Do you have a cheap voltmeter? You can pull the harness off the pump and have a friend turn the winshield wipers on. See if you get 12 volts. You can even buy a cheapy 12 volt test light from walmart or whatnot.

Might want to check your fuses also. I had this problem just resently and had to replace the fuse.

Thanx, I'll try all that as soon as I get home. Where are the fuses again?...I guess it should be in the manual.

Thanks again
