Non iPod MP3 player hookup to an '04 A4
OK, my girlfriend drives an '04 Audi A4, and she uses a Rio MP3 player. For some reason she likes it better than my iPod :dunno:
Anyhow, since the Audi doesn't have the tape deck, the only way she can use it the car is by the FM modultaor. We live in the city, so the sound quality is horrible.
So here's my question... What prodicts are there for an A4, that can be applied to any MP3 player... Something that would be integrated in the back of the stock radio unit, but would use the standard Headphone jack on the MP3 player.
I've seacrhed this foum, but most people have the iPods (the same as me), but she just had to get that Rio.
Please help. Thanks. I want to do this as a present for her... for her return from an 8 month deployment to Iraq

If it involves a wire hookup to the earphone jack in the mp3, whatever you did for the ipod with work for any other mp3 player. I baught a 600watt A/V receiver for my surround sound at home and I can plug in my Creative Zen touch, my friend's iPod, or anything else, it doesn't matter. You can get adapters at Radio Shack to run the speaker wires in your car to an adapter that will plug into the earphone jack in your gf's mp3.
