Not sure if you can get xeon lights. But you can get xenon lights, and yes you can do it yourself. Go to vvme.com. Their like $80 and easy to install.

Easy DIY install. Kits are available all over the web from 4300k to 12000k, get whatever color you want, however after 8000k it gets to the point where the light intensity is very diminished. Pretty much the only thing you have to figure out is where you want to mount your ballasts. I mounted mine under my headlights in the OEM ballast holder. This was in a b5 Audi a4, tho. Rest is plug and play, HID harness will mate up to your OEM headlight harness. You may or may not need a new relay to prevent the headlight out warning (didn't need one on the b5 a4). For mine it was stright-foward and I did not have to change any relays. Bought the ebay 8000k HID kit for 100 shipped. Works wonderful, had it for 3 months now. Only problem I've had was the driver side bulb did not ignite when I turned my lights on. Restarted the car and it came up instantly. Havent had that happen again tho, so it was probably just a fluke.
