From the limited perspective I have, it doesn't sound like his parents just write him a big check every two weeks and let him spend it however he wants. It's nice to have disposable income in the summertime.

Making money in the real world is pretty much keyed into your education. The more you have the better. At 16 I wouldnt expect him to start investing into a 401K. If I was his parents I'd rather him get educated as much as possible thus letting him be able to have a future

Education is what you make of it. Personally I worked in a shop and learned fabrication and automation. I was 18 at the time but I'm sure theres plenty of places that will let a 16 year old sweep the floors for some cash. If you show intrest in learning normally they will let you learn.

if yall wanna hear spoiled, then listen up. i have a school mate with a 2004 wrx sti a 2003 or 4 rsx type s and a tt supra, he is 16 and he was driving around 95 and hitting a pothole bending the fuvk out of his $1400 bbs rim and his dad isnt mad at all. the car came with a bov, cf hood and wheels and hits the 1/4 around 11 seconds. i also have a friend witha 2005 evo mr. now yall think im spoiled, thats wack
