now what?
started up my baby today and where it shows my milage it showed the sord "service" and "insp" blinking next to it. then i ran my vag-com to see if there were any fault code and the fiurst one returned multiple misfire. yet my car didnt seem like it was misfireing. i clreared the codes ran the scan again and the fault code didnt come up. so whats with the service blinking?
when the dealer does the maint on the car they set a timer for 10k miles. or whatever it is till the next date, this may not be exactly 30k or 40k miles.
That just flashes saying its time to go back. Pushing that wrench button will tell you how many miles are on the timer.

Its a built in timer that goes off at every scheduled service interval. Usually its reset after servicing. You don't need a VAGCOM to reset it, here...

If you have vag com you can set at what mileage intervals the INSP or service notification comes on at. Its convenient if you can remember to change your oil every 3k miles and want to only be reminded for spark plug replacement for example. Just some FIY and i highly recomend getting vag com to any audi owner. Its a great investment. No noob should be without it.
Trey25 beat you to it badluckaudi^^
See what happens when you buy a TRUCK!? You get slow!!!
Just kidding, I know your truck is a beast and could easily tow my poor audi to the junk yard after you walk all over it.
