i just installed a test pipe in my 98 a4 1.8 q and i now the cel poped on. so now i am looking for an o2 simulator. does anyone know where i can buy one or how i could just make one myself.

 

search for it use phrases like test pipe, or cel, or 02 sensor etc...

 

i did exactly that but i came up with no straight answer so if someone knows help me out. it would be greatly appreciated

 

just in his defence, i have heard aboutj it, but i have never heard someone speak more specifically about it. so if you are going to tell someone to search, make sure you search before you tell em to.

 

having never dont this i dont know exactly, but theres a way to use spark plug anti-fowlers, i think you need two of them, and you need to rethread one of them , so the other can fit into it, then you put the 02 sensor in the second, and should be okay, i saw somewhere there is a digital 02 simulator that you splice inplace of your 02 sensor and keeps the cel from comming on
