Change the pre-cat O2s only. The post cat ones don;t do much. ECS is a ripoff (check their shipping prices). Use rockauto.com to gt your sensors

I ordered 02 sensors from ECS and shipping was like $5...not a ripoff IMO. They've got the cheapest 02 sensors around...I think it's like $114 for each one. I've never been to rockauto.com, check it out and see if they can beat ECS prices.

Also you're supposed to change them both out at the same time. Otherwise you'll have one clean, clear signal going through and being blocked/slowed down by an old sensor. Depending on the condition, if you only change out one of them the old sensor could cause the new one to go bad too. I'd change both while you're at it...no real reason not to.

Wtf? Thats not true. What are you basing that info on? How can a bad/dirty post 02 sensor affect the precat 02 sensor?? It cant. The rear 02 sensor is a tattle tale for the pre cat 02 sensor. Has nothing to do with performance/driveability. The only reason to change the post cat 02 sensor is if it is bad-itself and is causing repeatitive CEL's. The precat should be changed about every 100k miles, and thats all you need to worry about. For a B6, ECS does have the cheapest OEM replacement. You could find a universal Bosch 02 sensor that will work on your car on ebay for around $60. Rockauto was advertising $136 just for the universal type.
