Lol that's true yup the timing belt was done (i have receipts) in fact the timing belt broke at 80,000 and for the obvious reasons had the head done at european auto doctors here in boston.

so the previous owner had the TB break - had either the engine rebuilt or replaced costing about $3000, then had the turbo go out 10k miles later and didn't want to deal with it?

That's pretty much what happened. didn't have to do the bottom end just top but it did cost about that much i have the receipt

Oh , and he is about to have twins so he went out and bought a station wagon, subaru i think. Poor b******

dude. just get a used k03 and use that till u do a real turbo upgrade...k04 will be wasting moeny b/c eventually ull want somthign bigger and better. trust me..

ya actally there was a k03 in the classifieds for lik $150 with only 24k miles on it. Awesome deal if its not sold yet.
