I'm currently running with no belly pan. It has rained a lot here today. should i be avoiding puddles or with the air being "blown off" is there any way moisture (water) can enter that port?

Thanks.

Default RE: Official Forge Splitter Review

Hey guys/girls I'm new to the forum but have been checking out for a few months now. I have a few questions about this Forge Splitter:

1. Will it work with my 2006 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro?
2. Are there any engine issues that can arise from this installation?
3. Do I need to have my car chipped in order to use this splitter, also is it worth chipping a 2006 A4 (substantial performace improvment)?
4. Do I need the Vag-COM software in order to detect a problem with my installation?
5. Will this work in a 2000 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro because my bro's b-day is coming up and if I like it I might just buy two.

Thanks in advance guys/girls.

P.S. Awesome forum and great people in here from what i've read.

1. Yes it will work with a 2006 a4 2.0t
2. If you set it to atmosphere it is still like 85% recirculate so it shouldnt cause any issues, it could run rich, so its safer to just run it recirculate
3. No you dont need your car to be chipped, it may make it louder, but you dont need it chipped
4. Vag-COM can tell you if you are running rich or something but you dont need one, it hsould be fine, maybe a boost gauge to check for leaks and make sure everything is fine with the instalation
5. Yes it works in any car with a turbo, its a replacement for the stock DV

Thanks for the info, just got one more question, will this void the factory 50k mile warranty?
