Default OIL

i just bought an 98 A4, Im getting an oil change tom morning, but i dont want jiffy lube putting cheap oil in it, i wanna buy my own oil and have them put it in. any suggestions on whats the best oil to use? keep car running with great performance? let me know whassup

seriously this topic is probly in the first two pages. defintely go with synthetic oil. 10w40 or 10w30 is good. if its really cold where you live go with a 5w30

Amsoil, mobil1, valvoline. Save a few dollars and change it yourself.

Do it your self, those guys will take your 4 quarts of mobile 1 0w40, throw them on the shelf, and fill your car with the cheap shiznit.

Don't trust them unless you are standing there watching them put the oil in.

The two WalMarts I go to are honest. What they put on the work order is what you get.

do it yourself... come on man its just an oil change... I could probably do it blindfolded.... remember always use synthetic mobil amosil are good, royal purple is good too from what i hear

having worked for a few franchise garages in my time I filled the oil from one container ( I named it magic high price all in one oil for all cars ) it might be different now????? but who knows, Mobil 1 0W 40 - 30 is the best for the turbo engine
