I have an a4 with a 2.8 (1998) and I wrote yesterday and found that the problem could be in the oil cooler... so I've ordered one and will install it tomorrow... my question is Is there any other typical places in the engine that could cause this to happen.. I have another friend with a VW who has similar problems

I cleared out resevoir on the car yesterday and the foam is back today.. so the car is unusable... I could use a little luck

Oh yeah.. I had the water pump replaced... along with the timing belt,, which started this whole story
