i changed my oil 1500 miles ago (i have another 1500 to go) Every time i start my car its displays service oil on my dash. I checked my oil level and its fine. Is it because of the cold weather?

 

If I'm Right its just a reminder if you changed it and not the dealer then it will flash until it's cleared there are ways to clear it yourself just look up the topic in the archive

 

Which Oil? "oil service" or

 

ooo thanks, jestnomen that wasnt what showed up i have a 99 the year before that display, so it just said oil service where my odimeter is. thanks for the feedback

 

Whats up i had this same problem hope this helps


1. Turn on car while pressing the odometer reset button. "Service" will show on the display.

2. Press the button at the bottom of the odometer until the Service message is cleared.
